SOURCING IN CHINA

ONE TYPE means products  can be produced in one factory in one kind of process. For example, Sheet Metal parts can be made in a sheet metal factory, while Die Casting has to be made in different factory who has die casting facilities. If you need both Sheet Metal parts spllier  and Die casting suppliers, they are two types of suppliers.

Factories now days are focusing more on their own industry to make their products competitive. Thus sourcing need to be more specific and selective.

If it’s a new industry that we don’t have existing resources, we do it in a few steps. (Note that every job and customer requirements are different, this is just a very rough idea) .

1. Extensive information collection from different sources including our local connection. We get about 10 real suppliers of that industry with different size and level.
2. We’ll do more research to refine the list into 3-5. We might check their credit record from some platforms, make phone calls to ask questions, etc. to make sure they are REAL factories, they can produce the requested products, and they are interested in working on the job (if customer provided a job description).
3. We’ll write a sourcing report to customer about the findings of these resources, and can even get rough quotation from them for customer to evaluate.
4. If these resources are not satisfied, we can do some additional research of the industry and communicate with customer whether the product is suitable for making in China. Now days not all products are suitable because of the increasing cost.

We charge the same way as a new sourcing process, USD299 PER TYPE. You can get more timely, reliable information, have better understanding and relationship with suppliers.
